NordVPN vs ExpressVPN Before You Subscribe

Neither a headline monthly price nor a large server count tells you which VPN to buy. Start with your devices and the connection you need, then compare the checkout terms. This is a comparison framework, not a performance test or a declaration that one service is faster.

Make the cost comparison useful#

Compare the money leaving your account, not just an advertised monthly equivalent. Then compare the next charge. A longer subscription can have a lower monthly equivalent while requiring a larger commitment. If you only need a VPN for a short period, include that shorter option in your calculation.

Choose on a requirement you can check#

List the apps and devices that must work. If you need a bundled feature, confirm that it is included on your platform before comparing prices. Do not pay extra for storage or account tools you already have and will not replace.

We cannot recommend a winner for speed or streaming without relevant test evidence. Once you have checked the written terms, testing your actual use during refund eligibility will tell you more than our guessing would.
