Start with the connection you need#
Surfshark sells a consumer VPN subscription with apps for common desktop and mobile platforms. Its product page advertises unlimited simultaneous device connections. That can be relevant when you have several devices, but check the supported platforms and account terms for your setup before paying. A connection allowance does not establish how well a particular app or network will work for you.
We have not independently measured Surfshark's speed, tested streaming access or performed leak tests. This page uses the official VPN documentation to explain what to investigate, not to award a performance ranking.
Separate the VPN from the bundle#
Surfshark also markets security and identity-related products alongside its VPN. Use the current pricing page to check which services belong to the plan you are considering. Do not assume that every feature in a product advertisement is included in the least expensive subscription or available on every platform.
If you already pay for antivirus software or another overlapping service, decide whether you intend to replace it. Otherwise, an extra feature may simply mean another subscription you do not use.

We are not quoting a universal price. The amount and conditions shown for your location and payment channel should be checked at checkout. A monthly equivalent attached to a long subscription is different from a month-to-month payment.

Check the result on your own devices#
Before committing to a subscription, write down the few tasks it must handle. After purchase, check those tasks while you remain eligible for any applicable refund. Keep the receipt and the conditions that applied to your purchase. A larger bundle is not useful if the connection you actually need does not work as expected.
